Internet's largest automotive Web site featuring used car listings exclusively from dealers, has partnered with vehicle history provider Carfax.
AutoMart adds a powerful sales tool to its online inventory by automatically linking vehicle listings to Carfax Reports run by dealers. Used car shoppers get on-the-spot vehicle history information to make easier, more informed buying decisions.
Each vehicle that qualifies will come with the exclusive Carfax Buyback Guarantee.
"This partnership has huge benefits for those dealers who list their inventory on AutoMart.com and shoppers who use the site looking for their next car," says Bernie Brenner, vice president of business development at Carfax. "Studies show dealers who use Carfax can make as much as $300 more per sale.
Consumers can buy with confidence - especially when that car is backed by the Carfax Buyback Guarantee."
The two leading companies joined forces to give dealers a distinct advantage in the online sales arena. AutoMart.com currently lists more than 800,000 pre-owned cars from 15,000 dealers and can potentially provide instant access to Carfax Reports for every listing.
"Carfax Vehicle History Reports are a must-have for our customers," states Skip Dowd, regional vice president for AutoMart.com.
"Many of our dealers already use Carfax, so the addition of instant access to the reports is a wonderful enhancement to our service. We now have a top-notch Web site for our dealers that better meets the needs of the online car buyer."
